So I only resting my nylon string 2 or 3 times a year

Every time it takes like 2 weeks for the strings to stay in tune

I stretch em good , tune and play then repeat and it still takes forever.

any tips other than that ?

When I put the guitar back into the hardcase, I tune it a half step above. BTW nylon strings are a pain when it comes to tuning, that's the nature of them.

tune them one step up for 2-3 days when practicing to stretch them out.

Yup I store them tuned up a semitone for a while.
Carbon trebles are much better regarding this issue though (and tone and intonation and feel in my opinion), but they do still take some stretching. I use Savarez KF Alliance carbon
