I have a Randall Diavlo 5 watt. It sounds good the way it is. Sometimes I want truly Brutal. Think Carnifix, Infant Annihilator, Cannibal Corpse.
Aside from the amp I have a ISP decimator, Seymour 805.
I'm thinking about getting a mxr 10 band EQ?
    Thoughts or suggestions?
Can I get too truly brutal with the EQ?
Guitar in use is a Schecter Blackjack with Nazgul/Sentient.

Get an eq pedal. You'll be amazed how it will transform your amp, and you'll wonder why you didn't get one sooner. They'll take you a lot closer to the tone you have in your head.

I have an MXR 10 band and a Boss Ge-7. I prefer the Ge-7 because I feel it has better control over the midrange, but different eq's will react differently with different amps/pups, so YMMV.

I was thinking of getting the KFK MXR 10 band. The Diablos setting I got know are pretty dead on for Slayer. I want heavier than Slayer.
I figured Kerry made some minor changes to the regular MXR 10 band.
My budget is $179 dollars. That comes from a Digitech Drop I'm returning because it was awful.
I will look into the Boss too though.

Honestly I had the 5 watt version and want impressed when hooked to a cab. It can do heavier stuff through an interface, but those damn el84 power tubes suck.

    Cranked and sounded like crap.

    I tried everything :(

In future you might consider El844's, they fit el84 tube slots and run a little cooler, giving more of a 6v6 tone (& warmer breakup at earlier volumes levels).

    Also to the op;
you might want to consider a Pod Hd desktop to run in the loop, they can be had around $200.

I've recently been playing pedals through a pod hd bean into a clean el84 tube head and the variety of sounds i can get is immense. Even though its a digital unit, the sounds i'm running through it are not and the end result out the v30 cabinet isn't, but the precision and control you can get with the multiple different eq's is a lot of fun, adding lowend, oomph, mid-honk cut or warmth as much as you like (not to mention all those post FX like chorus and delay).

I always tweak my sounds through monitors and mic'd up and the tones i can get with such a simple inexpensive setup are recording-ready (& far better than just the pod by itself).

The Diavlo 5 watter is a single ended 6v6 amp. No el84's.

Is it the head or combo?

It is the head, two 12ax7, and one 6v6.

Another option I'm considering is getting the Amptweaker Tightmetal and putting it in the effects loop.

What cab & speaker are you using?

I have the RD1-H on a Bogner 4x12, and it had so much gain and saturation, I had to put an ECC81/12at7 in it to calm it down some, and make the sweep of the Gain control more usable.

I love it so much, I've considered picking up the 20, 45, or 100 watt version just to have.

Putting a TM in the fx loop, to me is 'tomato-tamahto'. I can't see it being that much different.
Mike Fortin is top-shelf in the brutal department imo.

There's a bit more to the equation of sounding "brutal" than just the amp.
Guitar, pickups, and speaker are just as important.

Your guitar and pickups are top notch.
I'm not familiar with those bands you listed, but CC are known SS Crate and Recto users.

If it's just a voicing thing, then there's nothing better than running an EQ in the loop.

The speaker in question is the RD112 v30. So I'm set on speakers. It's just one celestion v30. But I'm a bedroom player.
If I ran the EQ into the loop, how do you hook that to the amp?
This is my first amp with a loop and I'm obsessive about knowing exactly what to do.
Thank you for you and every ones input by the way.

Quite simple. You'll need two more cables.

First cable goes from the fx loop SEND to the INPUT of the eq pedal.
Second cable goes from the fx loop RETURN to the OUTPUT of the eq pedal.

I ordered an MXR 10 band EQ. Will update when I get it.

If you want more control than the MXR you can try an ashdown bass graphic EQ.

I have the Diavlo Rd5 as well, with Sheckter Blackjack and SD Blackouts and very interested in your results. Please keep us posted when you receive the MXR

I took a look about the carnifex setup for my own curiosity, the don't use tone modifying pedals at all, so that is very good in trying to get the sound.

The Peavey 6505+ is the war machine you need with a good 4x12, a Vader 4x12 for example and you'll have what you need. Our Diavlo with 5w is not the same, but we have a very decent distortion. That 4x12 tone explosion is what we room players will lack.

You don't have the blackouts pickups, but yours are very similar so you should sound quite similar. Do you have a 7 string or a 6th tuned to drop A? which pickup do you use?

About cannibal corpse, as far as I know they used the pro cot rat pedal and amp distort (marshall?) with most of the old songs in Eb tuning, they don't even play D standard

I'm on 7 string tuned to Drop A flat.
    Seymour Duncan Nazgul Bridge.
I also have a Jackson Soloist 3-6 tuned to C standard with EMG 57-66 in it.
I'm honestly pretty happy with the tone I get out of the little Diavlo.
I just want more of what I like about it. If that makes any sense.
A 4 by 12 is overkill for what I need.
If Ampeg ever rereleases the vh140c I will get a 4 by 12. Other than that, I'm going to get my Diavlo as brutal as possible.

You look to have the gear, so I think you already have the tone. Have you tried to play with a drum backtrack? because that is the only you lack of.

Yeah I do occasionally. I was thinking about saving up for one of those Beat Buddy pedals.
