IT HAS ARRIVED! Getting some new strings and stuff at work today and gonna do a full setup tonight
haha, Aqua Teen rocks. You don't happen to have the theme song as an mp3, do you?
I Dont, but i do have the first 45 episodes on my PC.. i was thinking about throwing some random other Dr. Weird quote on there, but no one would get it.
GENTLEMEN! BEHOLD! I HAVE MADE LOVE TO THIS MACHINE! ... IN RETROSPECT I ASK WHY!
SHE WAS DRUNK STEVE! SHE DIDNT KNOW WHAT SHE WAS DOING.. AAAH!! MY METAL BOY!
Great lookin' axe bro!
That's, um, bizarre...
I freaking love Aqua Teen. Some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen.
"Gentlemen! BEHOLD! My ass has finally eaten...MY HAND!!!!"
(Dr. Wierd's ass sucks his hand, arm, then finally his whole body in, leaving only a little ball of flesh on the floor. Steve pauses, holding the phone.)
Steve: "Yeah, so just the one hoagie, then."
Sweet lookin' Uni! Congrats!
...and the head is finally centered on the cabinet
nice guitars dude. Three great Ibanez guitars (what exactly is the plural form of Ibanez? Ibanez'? Ibanezezez?)
I have the same 7-string chord/scale book you do too (the one on the far left in the photo).
I think my favorite one is the one where Meatwad gets swallowed by his pet snake and they pour booze down the snakes throat to try to get it to throw Meatwad up but it just gets Meatwad drunk. And he's yelling at them with this little muffled voice from inside the snake, slurring his words and trying to pick fights. I thought I was going to pull a muscle laughing at that stuff.
Oh, and Boxy Brown is the coolest character ever. When they're working on the car, and Meatwad tells Boxy to crank it.
"Uh uh, I ain't hearing that, see. You asking or you tellin'? Cause NOBODY tells Boxy Brown!"
"Now Boxy, I'm just asking a favor, now you remember the other day I helped you move your grandma, that was my day off."
"Boy, that wasn't no grandma, that was a GROCERY BAG."
"Well, you're just a box."
"I'm just a WHAT, bitch?!"
"Uh, you're Duke of New York, A number one."
"You say it louder, boy!!!"
"YOU'RE DUKE OF NEW YORK, A NUMBER ONE!!!"
"Ah ha ha ha ha...yeah..."
that's alotta ibanez
awesome! what trem is that?
Wow... that UV GR is nice... they don't get much more minty-fresh than that, do they?
+1 for Dimarzio strap (green to boot!!)
I've got the mp3 right here and I'm listening to it right now.
SWEEEEEEEEET UV, btw. Those are my favs.
Yeah, its amazing how good of condition it is in. i'm gonna give it a setup in a few minutes here and then put it on a wallhanger i just purchased \m/.
As far as Aqua teen, the ass eating the hand thing from dr weird. you left out the best part..
"MY ASS IS EATING MY HAND!!!.... IT HUNGERS....FOR MORE!!!!!" lol
RX-Lo-Pro Edge on the UV777GR
That is truly a beautiful guitar, congrats man!
So i showed it to my parents. My dad thinks its 'very bold' lol and my mom thinks its freakish.
congrats, that is probably the nicest guitar i have ever seen, im gonna start saving and maybe find a yellow
Parents rarely understand....except for my mother who when I lived at home would yell at me to turn it up louder, stating she couldn't hear what I was playing. Hey, any excuse works to crank the 120watt tube amp in the house!!
It does help when they come from a musical background though, even if they don't appreciate the music and the gear as much, they love the fact that their kids are musically inclined in some form.
Be careful with that guitar, I'd hate to see it fall off the wall hanging and smash on the floor!
Jesus. My mom was always "Turn that down!" and "Turn down the distortion, it's so much prettier clean!"
Consider yourself lucky.
(although, I gotta say my parents have been hugely supportive)
