BOOOOOOOOOM!! Best of the mortals... Fking hell! Amazing! That overtake on HAM was fking glorious!
A great spectacle of racecraft ny Alonso, his overtake on Russell without DRS was an absoluty beauty.

And how long did those Redbull's second stint on soft lasted for so long? They outran or matched the whole damn grid who were running on hard

They have a car that's so far ahead they can run tyre preservation at the same speed the rest are racing. Combine that with being out front and not having to take any life out of the tyres to overtake and there you go. Shades of Merc 2020

Yeah I'd have expected this strategy with lets say medium, but to pull it off with soft vs hard, them Redbulls are going to pace into an easy championship

Yeah, the actual questions are if Checo will manage to be second on the championship and if the first of the rest is going to be from Ferrari, Mercedes or Aston Martin... Not bad for the first race!

never been a fan of Alonso, but im definitely excited to see him up there.
As a latin im really rooting for Checo to do his best this season, Max is an absolute monster, but I would love to see Checo fighting more this year

Felicidades amigo! Great race by Checo! Great for me also...

The Red Bull are on another planet for sure. Still a good drive from both Verstappen and Checo, didn't had to push but nobody's clear from a mistake.

Love to see Aston Martin being amongst Ferrari and Merc, Alonso had another great day, Stroll outside pass on Sainz looked absolutely awesome but I never got to see a replay so its hard to tell, shame his car had issue.

Wait, just learning that Alonso got bumped out of P3 with a 10sec penality, what the actual fuck?

Not Wolff's fault mechanics can't keep their mitts off the cars. This happened last race and nobody should be surprised.

I am not saying the penalty is incorrect, I am saying it was applied too late. Last race, as you say, this happened and sanctions were applied during the race.

That's why I blame Wolff, he likes to win in the office when he cannot in the track.

If the FIA needs 35 laps to notice the sanction was not served properly then it is their fault for not noticing.

Sanctions should be applied during race. Period.
