I wasn't 100% where to put this thread but I think this should be okay.

Hipshot have just released their 6 string headless tuners, figured that this would be useful for any of you planning future headless (probably Strandberg...) builds.

Available in black, chrome and gold

I guess the Carvin release has begun to have some extended results.

EDIT: Preempted by this thread created last year http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/pickups-electronics-general-tech/153437-hipshot-set-release-headless-bridges-6-7-8-strings-pics-inside.html

It'll obviously be solid and high quality, but I think it's pretty ugly compared to a strandberg or JCustom unit.

Pretty cool that they're making them now, though.

It's awesome seeing more headless stuff on the market, but holy cow is that ugly. It just looks so bulky, which is the opposite of the headless idea.

They really need to rework that head-piece, it looks gigantic and heavy.

The pricing isn't too bad though. :agreed:

Those saddles are gonna have to sit at a TOM-esque height if you don't want your hand to vanish into the chasm between the sides of the bridge. Why'd they not make the sides lower!?

Looks awesome on its own but I think that might be pretty blocky-looking compared to the rest of a sleek-looking headless.
