They have a live DVD out?! I was not aware, I must look into this immediately.

Last year I stood at the front for nearly 11 hours straight to see Decapitated. If they are indeed the headliners, it means I can shave off at least 2 hours from that. Cool.

I really didn't like it. It was footage mixed up from multiple shows, and it sounded overdubbed. Two things I hate in a live DVD.

If that's the case then may be the reason I haven't heard anything about it and will more than likely have to pass it up.

buuuuuuuut the show is also juts a bonus feature, and there's a fucking awesome/hilarious documentary on the first disc, all their music videos and the live footage on on the second, with more outtakes from the documentary. It's well worth it.

I saw the confirmed line-up, and it SUCKS. I'm still going for Fleshgod and TBDM, but wow. suckage.

to prove I'm not full of it, I can confirm there are no technical bands

do what? I'm not posting the line-up but I'm telling you right now there are no technical bands.

Also, the upper-half is more death metal and the lower half is more deathcore. Thats all I'll say

If you're not going to post the lineup then why even mention anything about it?

Last year's SS tour would have been good if you took all the deathcore and scene kids 2stepping out of the equation. I like how all the death metal bands started the show off, and then the deathcore bands went on at the end. Thank God Decapitated ended it otherwise I would have left when Carnifex started. This year better not suck.

I never said I don't believe you. I've been given insider info before as well so I know all about having to keep my mouth shut. But saying "to prove I'm not full of it, I can confirm there are no technical bands" doesn't prove you're not full of it. Some people might consider some bands technical, some may think those same bands aren't. That statement just holds no validity whatsoever.

I've heard that Dying Fetus is confirmed. Anyone more knowledgeable care to comment?

Fleshgod was terrible live, their tone was just fuzz and static and it wasn't mixed well at all.

However, I am incredibly excited for the possibility of TBDM. they were flawless when I saw them recently. Amazing live sound.

I actually like all those bands minus Six Feet Under so I'll more than likely be attending depending on the date.
