Back again, worked on a new song shortly after I had gotten my G-Major 2 and this was the result. Of course, as per usual lately, the amp sounds are from my Engl E530.

Here goes nothing...

UPDATE:
Still no vocals as I'm still pretty badly sick. However, I followed the snare suggestion and I think it worked. Also dialed the distorted guitars back a bit to make room for the ambient lines.

The bass guitar sounds great dude. The snare is too hard for my tastes in the clean intro. I think it could benefit from being a little fatter. The drums as a whole sound good during the heavier bits. But they are too clicky and intense for the softer bits. If this is programmed maybe turn down the velocity.
I love the guitar sound.
The ambiance of the track rocks too. Get some vocals on this sucker.

You know what?... I think you're right about the drums. Thinking velocity might be the solution too. I believe I got a little lazy about them but they need a little less click and a little more fat on the soft parts.

Also I will include vocals as soon as I get over this bronchitis. Have the vocals all planned out beginning to end so I'll try and get this together.

Thanks for both the kind words and the (correct) suggestions!

Good pints on the snare, agreed. This is really good. I like it a lot. It has a Ghost Brigade/Katatonia feel to it to me, which is nice. Good job on mixing the bass in there, sounds good.

Many thanks for the kind words! I followed the suggestions and have posted an updated version so hopefully this did the trick.
