I absolutely love how this guitar looks but I'm not so sure about how it sounds or plays . The bridge is way more comfortable than the TOM on my COW7, and I love the forearm cut but the neck isn't nearly as comfortable which is a huge surprise because I used to love Ibanez necks. I'm also not sold on the Miracle Man in the bridge. I dunno if it's because I'm so used to active pickups or if it just isn't for me but I can not get a satisfying metal tone out of it. The split cleans are fucking gorgeous though. I've been playing Chili Peppers covers on it all morning

I still need to install the Tremol-no and get some Lock-tite for the bar holder. Tried doing the OFR arm mod and the damn thing keeps falling out.

Awesome!. Great color combination. White pickups might look very nice there.

Was the guitars shady past most ever cleared up. How a previous member payed for it but never received it before you bought it locally about 6 months later? Still curious.

Kind of; apparently the guy I bought it from just never shipped the body to the original buyer. He listed it on craigslist a few months later and I ended up buying it. There were a handful of problems that weren't disclosed and parts I never received (he said he had the tuners, locking nuts, fine tuners, trem posts, and other misc parts) but just dropped off the face of the earth after I got the neck, body, and trem (missing fine tuners). I still got everything for a fairly awesome price so I decided it wasn't worth my time to continue bothering the guy

The dude that got ripped off offered to buy the body and neck from me but he (and I don't blame him) didn't want to pay the actual value of the parts; only what I paid for them. I could have done the nice thing and sold them stuff to him but this was also (in my mind at the time) my "dream" project. Maybe it's karma that I'm finding it to be rather underwhelming compared to my Jackson?
