Brief & Accurate Description of Guitar/Gear: Fender Baritone Telecaster Modifications (if any): N/A Additional Accessories (hardshell case, etc.): A case or bag would be cool, but not totally necessary. Your Location (City, State or City, Country): New York City, NY International OK?: Yes (we can discuss shipping options) Contact Info (No Phone #s): PM me on here only References (eBay or other forum userid): It has been a very, very long time since I have done any business here on SS.org; however, some older members will vouch for me. I also have endless positive feedback on eBay and Reverb.com. Price (include currency and if firm/obo): Whatever we can agree on since I am looking to purchase one of these guitars. Pictures: N/A I'm looking to purchase a MIM Fender Baritone Telecaster since they are becoming harder to find nowadays and some asking prices are becoming ridiculous compared to what they should be (or used to be). Out of all three stock finish options, the 3-tone sunburst finish has my preference over the ghost silver or classic copper.
WAYYYYY overpriced due to scalpers who really don't know what these are. (They are cheap, MIM Teles. That's it.) And, again, like I said in my initial post, the 3-tone burst finish takes my preference.
Not what I'm looking for since I'm a Telecaster player. I'm looking for a baritone Tele for a reason. And this is not even remotely a helpful response.
True, but you have to admit this is a really solid recommendation, even if he was a dick about not being interested... Plus who on here hasn't GAS'd for something, only to find something else they didn't even know existed. Sorry, but I just can't see anyone interested in a Fender Tele Baritone not finding this interesting, even if it wasn't what they were looking for (and thus saying a polite no thank you). FWIW I've seen the 27" scale Blacktop Baritone on GC Used before, back when I was interested in buying one myself... IIRC $800 was the listed price. Whatever... carry on with the WTB thread.
Ok, in my defense, I thought that @USMarine75 was referring to the RA Descent model. I didn't even know that this Eastsider Baritone existed. I'm guessing it is a newly introduced model? Shame that this Eastsider Baritone doesn't have humbucker routes though. And I'm not much of a trem user. I'd prefer something that I can mount a hardtail plate-style bridge on (like one of Hipshot's plate bridges) to keep with the Telecaster aesthetic. Otherwise, I would indeed consider hopping on one of these. The specs on it are much, much better than the Fender Blacktop Baritone Tele.
