Mine will probably be the first of many but the UV7BK Green Dot. Simples.

Its just an incredible neck, the best I think I have ever played 7 string or 6 string, playability is second to none, build quality in all the early 90's models is fantastic and best bit is it looks fcuking cool as fcuk....

My Ibanez RG7620 is the best Ibanez I have played. Then again I haven't been blessed with playing a universe or RG8527z

My favorite Ibanez Production model 7 would have to be the old Green Dot Universe. Those are just incredible instruments. everything about them is just great. The neck is incredible, the trem is rock solid, the tone is so clear and articulate. I will own one someday

If we are also including Rare or Custom models then I'd have to say my absolute favorite Ibanez 7 is Buz Mcgrath's Silverburst S7. I played it a while back and it was just perfect. Everything about that guitar is amazing. Incredibly comfortable to play and sounds absolutely massive. The body is thicker than a normal saber and the neck profile is more like a Jackson. It's the most comfortable guitar I've ever had the pleasure of playing and i'm so glad i had the opportunity to give it a go.

7620. I've owned 4 of them and wish I still had the 2 that I dont have. One was stolen :realmad: and another bit the dust one too many times and was sold as parts basically. :noplease:

I've played a few other Ibanez 7's, most notable being the UV's I guess. Stock pickguard on UV's is pretty cool, but otherwise I cant find a notable difference between the 7620 and UV.

Has to be my Pwh Universe. I can't even begin to describe the neck on this thing....

And then of course, these three come in a very close second...I just love having each different fretboard wood..

No question about it, J Custom RG7-CST. Tone heaven, unreal build quality and playability and rare as fook to boot. Unfortunately only about 18 made so if you ever get a chance to even play one don't pass it up.

I really love the how fluid the trem is, the fretwork is probably the best i have ever seen, the single coil neck pup is unique and adds quite an interesting flavor. Also the neck is just brilliant.

S7420.

I picked it over an RGD2127z and a RG1527. To me the S7420 just had "mojo" and was very comfortable and felt natural to play, it also looks and sounds AWESOME (with stock pickups may I add )

They totally Outplay every guitar i have ever played in my life. Enjoyed it much more then the non-aanj universes, and they play the same as the aanj uni's to me.

More comfortable TOO ME then the 1527, but thats a matter of the neck shape you enjoy.

If we're going off of ones we've owned/played, the RG1527 takes the cake. From a GAS standpoint, probably the RG8527ZVV.
