What non-existant guitars do you dream of? Post them here!

Here's one i've often thought of... a Gibson Firebird VII^2!

    Ibanez 8 string Artist Series
    Ibanez RGT7 and RGT8 Series

And I wish there was a midi system that could span more than 6 strings w/o needing multiple units.

    I'd love a Firebird 7... *drool*

I'd also like to see a made in USA PRS 7 string, a PRS Baritone 7, and PRS/PRS SE 8 strings.

Semihollow 8 strings are also on my want list.

Ibanez 7 reversed headstock, single humbucker, lo pro edge with a snazzy quilted top and nice finish. Preferably in the prestige line.

Jackson used to have an import Rhoads 7, the RR7.

They actual did release an AX8 (under the Edwards brand I believe) not too long ago. It was available for purchase on Ikkebe.

No hate. They're a good looking guitar, I just really like the regular Fly/Mojo.

Also "fantasy" because neither are (or would be) in my price range.

Yea that Maxxfly 7 made me really sad when I saw the price tag and realized I'd probably never get one...

Taking the thread title VERY literally.

Ibanez RG guitar with a Prestige neck in a 24 3/4 neck scale. :agreed:

Curse you Jeff Loomis and your 5th fret to 11th fret hammer-on and pull-off stretches. And you too, Chris Broderick. Long fingered motherfuckers. :fawk::cool:

For me, it'd have to be a 7 string Fender American Standard Strat with typical fretboard and color options. I wouldn't mind hacking in humbucker at the bridge myself, even.
