They should put up a poll asking whether or not they should call E-II guitars ESP Standard Series again.

That Horizon Custom Classic is a beauty. When it comes to guitars in Japan, I look like the most conservative person on earth.
I think ESP hedged their bets thinking that no one would even vote on that one since it's not on the voting list, also the description says it's LP like.

Some of those are really terrible. I like the XJs, Horizon, and SV... the rest are :noplease:

Me too, was thinking the exact same thing.

Wanted to vote on the Horizon, but as it weren't there i ended up voting on the hybrid.

XJ, Hybrid and the Old School Horizon were my favourites.

They should update the Hybrid and Horizon with Ebony and maple fretboards.

I went with the 1st Raindeer.

To me, it represents a fusion of "traditional," Western guitar shape with the Visual Kei-type guitars that ESP does better than anyone. It's not as streamlined as the Horizon, nor is it as pointy as the Forest.

I like that the VR has strap pins on all edges, like "yeah, we don't know what to do with this thing either."

I think I recall back around like 04/05 the description ESP used for the Horizon's (ltd h1000/1001, etc as well) in the US was like this "les paul meets super strat" type angle. I guess because at the time they were mahogany body/maple cap.

It looks like it could be cool in a different finish, but with that one... definitely agree.

The Bottom Line, XJ-6, and Horizon Classic are far and away my favorites, for both guitar and bass (well, the bass Horizon, at least).

Wow most of those are pretty fugly.

    No Maverick? No Serpent?

I really want a Serpent body shape minus the George Lynch paintjob.

So many terrible looking guitars.... I'm sure some J-pop/rock guitarists over there will love them though. Must be preferred designs in Japan thus japan only promo.

Weirdly I like the majority of the bass designs... most the lead guitars though... no thanks.

Oh well. The wait for a M-II with H/S config and reverse headstock reissue continues.

Hahaha. When I looked over the options I was like, "Well the xj is probably the only on of these I would play." And then I looked at the voting results thus far and it was in last. Getting older for sure.
