hello there,

I noticed ESP USA M-II and E-II M-II have different neck profiles. Does anybody have first-hand experience on how their feel differ?
I personally prefer 43mm nut width, but I can play a neck with 42mm width no problem...
I wonder if people noticed any difference between the 2?
p.s.: I have owned 2 MIJ ESPs from the standard series (an Eclipse and a Horizon). If I'm not mistaken, they have the "thin U" neck profile and 42mm nut. I did wish they had a wider nut and a less chunky feel, but not a deal breaker. My favorite neck profiles are the Jackson soloist and Ibanez Wizard (both D shape with 43mm nut)

Thanks!

I'm not the most experienced guitar player, but to me the difference in feel between a 42mm nut width and 43mm nut width on a guitar is very noticeable. The more I've played the more I'm beginning to prefer a guitar having the 43mm nut width. Fretboard doesn't feel as claustrophobic to me.
