And like clockwork, Syu gets a new signature to tie in with a new Galneryus album release. He's had a few Crying Star 7s in the past, but this may be the first that's come into production.

Huge fan of Syu but I think the Crying Star looks so weird and wonky compared to the Anchang Star, which is easily my favourite Star ever. Such a shame Anchang doesn't play 7s 😭 still putting one of these on my GAS lookout list for when I'm in Japan this summer, Fisher-Price curves be damned.

Anyone got any experience with those ESP Flicker trems? Would rather a Floyd but I know Syu essentially uses them as hardtails. If they're viable for a bit of expressiveness (presuming no divebombs) that's definitely a plus.

Agree to forever disagree. To me pickup rings are one of the worst things to ever happen to electric guitars. It's like putting casts on both your legs for no reason at all. Your movement is impaired and your quilted maple skin is partially hidden only for for the reason that your doctor don't feel like doing his job and is satisfied covering it up
have you seen a schecter hellraiser 7 string with the stock emg pick ups?

I posted this in the other thread but I was told that my Javier LTD 8 string strat I preordered has been pushed back to December.

Unforch, if they stick to that timeline its less bad than previous years at least. I remember trying to get an AZ24047 and Rich from Ibanezrules told me it would literally be 15 months. I'm thinking brother that's longer than a Suhr custom order, and 2x as long as Tom Anderson. Japan manufacturers need so much help it seems like.

These aren't actually made by ESP though. I'm guessing it's just not a priority vs. the 328th Metallica sig./money printer that's taking precedent in the manufacturing queue at the OEM.

It seems the only way to get an ESP/LTD quickly is if Kirk or James has their brand on it.

That ended up being my exit strategy from the E-II M-II quagmire. Metallica: The cause of — and solution to — all of life’s problems.*

And yet the yen decreases... somewhere in the middle, dealers
I've been monitoring the Yen recently and it's been pretty stable for the last few months, if I'm not mistaken. (I only monitor it via guitar listings), but it's not going to make a difference between me buying or not buying a guitar.

Over the past year it's lost like 30% vs the dollar, so if you're paying dollars for Japanese goods and feeling a price increase, something's fishy.
