Is there another amplifier that has that thick saturation distortion? Sounds the same on many YouTube videos but it’s EQ sounds never change. Demo videos all sound the same to my ears no matter what settings. All priced the same almost version 1 2, 60 watt 120 watt. (Actual amps)

If you want thick saturation look at Rev Blue or Green Uberschalls.

The savage stands out different , ....is there a similar tone
Vh4 pedal?, maybe very close to it’s lead.

I think that 5150/6505+/ENGL Fireball 60w have thick saturated distortion. These are amps that I have or owned and can confirm this :)

    (Bassman or Marshall),

My Savage 120 mk 2 is thick AF and saturates more than my EVH, Archon or Dual rectifier ever could. The Engl Pro cabs are a magical combo with it.

Yeah, Dual rectifier (the one I have experience with) is not really saturated yes.
Could worn out tubes effect saturation? Maybe I need to refresh them in my Savage 120. I have fresh tubes in Savage SE and is not all that saturated. It is, but just not 5150/6505+ type. I do accept that maybe my definition of saturation is different/wrong?

Should be same lead channel of Savage 120. Blackmores use el34 tubes.

The blackmore is the closest you will get to te savage.
Other than that, try a revv generator 100p

You have to get the Dual Rec gain knob up to like 2:00 - 3:00 to get the same saturation as you expect from a 5153. The gain knob is way more usable on the Mesa. The 5150's might as well have an on/off switch instead of a gain pot.

Just wondering why look for something like the Savage, instead of getting a Savage

Or just use a 5751 tube and problem solved.

What about the “artist edition”?, do all of their lead channels design off of the savage amplifier’s lead? *asking with intention to make a purchase.

Savage (6L6/5881), Blackmore, and e530 are all in the same family of circuit topology.

The Blackmore is "Savage" AF.

Can anyone explain this thread to me?

    - Savage: 5881 tubes.
    - Savage Special Edition/Sovereign/Blackmore: 6L6GC Tubes.

They are all basically the same amp. Only differences are the power section and the extra functions on each, being the Blackmore the most stripped down one and the Savage the most loaded.

The E530 is actually based on the Screamer, according to ENGL.
