How have I never heard anything about this?

Probably something new, as the regular 100W was the e850.
With the features this one has I'm afraid it will break the bank anyway.

I figured it was new too, but for some reason (maybe in my dreams) I felt that I've seen it before. It's not on their product listing, but if you maneuver around their site you can find it.

It looks sexy. But as you said, if their other power amps are already in the grand+ range, I cant imagine what this one would pull.

That's the tube poweramp meant for the e570 and e580 for the crazy bastard who needs a ton of poweramp flexibility. I've love to sit down with one of those and a VHT 2150 at the same time with my Axe-FX II.

Yeah. Probably around two years ago. They were like $2800. Kinda hard justify spending that much on a power section.

I also noticed they took the 580 preamp off their site under products, I wonder if they're done with that.

Yep, also discontinued, and probably for the same reason as the E950.

I know that is a really hiper-extra-Necro-resurection but i just want to say that this poweramp (i was talking with Engl Service about it) was produced in about ~3 copies. Just to complete the topic XD It's totally unavailable and it wasn't ever been available at all
