^ Civil engineering will teach you all those things you mentioned, plus a whole lot more. I don't know exactly what a Land Surveyor does, and I may be severely underestimating the job, but civil engineering will certainly teach the things you listed, plus many, many more. But one class at a time in engineering...? Isn't there another solution? Assuming you don't have to take extra credits, my university's civil engineering degree is 120 credits, at an average of about 3.2 credits per course... you do the math. Sorry I'm not being very helpful, and forgive me for sounding cynical, but it sounds like you're in a tough spot. I seriously wish you the best of lucks, dude.
