I sold both an Ibanez ax7221 and an old BC Rich warlock and bought a jay turser double neck. then I traded and Ibby gio 7 for an Iommi SG. and now I am going to fund my building an 8 stringer

I have a bad habit of selling absolutely nothing and continuing to buy stuff..

    Major purchases this year:

    Guitars:
    Ibanez RG350DX
    Ibanez RG7321
    Alvarez RD8

    Other:
    Digitech Death Metal Distortion

    Let's see... I bought:
    Randall RG50TC
    Ibanez RG1527
    Line 6 Toneport UX1
    Behinger Truth 2031A's
And I ordered a Yamaha RBX 375 bass in silver, Toontrack EZDrummer and EZX DFH, but they won't get here this year
    I think that's it...

    I sold:
    Marshall VS65R with blown speaker
LTD M-100FM with EMG 81/89, a decent guitar, sold to a friend to fund the 1527, haven't regretted it one bit.

That's it. My setup changed completely this year, and I'm quite satisfied with it now.

I love these total gearslut threads.

    In 2006, I bought this:
    Ibanez-7-String-100.jpg
    1997 Ibanez RG7621 :metal:

    Sold this:
    Guitars1.jpg
1960s Silvertone w/Amp in Case (Tell me again why I bought this in the first place )

    Bought this:
    GibsonRoyaltone 014.jpg
Fender Champ 12 (Not metal by any means, but a kick-ass practice amp that doesn't allow any cheating)

Finally got around to repairing this:
    tube screamer 004.jpg
1983 TS-9 (put guts in 1990s reissue case. A great boost or for some nice old-school OD)

    I also bought these:

Boss RC20XL Loop Station (the best jamming / practice tool I've ever owned)

Peterson Strobo-Stomp (the best tuner I've ever owned)

Plus I already got a jump-start on 2007 by putting a cool '83 Ibanez Roadstar II on layaway. I have a feeling that 2007 will bring even more gear sluttery.

Well... I'm happy if a can bought a new guitar next year...a cheap one. I haven't got money for this :( Maybe If I start working, but I still live with my parents, I can save some money for my "dream gear" . . . but when I get a house and a wife, I most give up buying this things :(

Got myself my first 7 this year, as well as a new prog rock band. Hopefully, this next year, my tendinitis will clear up and I'll get to practicing hardcore again. Also, I want to get some sort of recording device.
