Will it fit in a 707 routed hole?

Ok, now where can I find some 81-7's online? I looked on EMG's website and they weren't even on there. So I'm guessing they are custom order items?

Thanks man, lol also nice touch with the thumbs-up there haha. Ok, so I could just take out the 707 and just put the 81-7 in the bridge, correct? If I remember correctly, EMG's just have the plugs on their wires, instead of having to solder. I wouldn't need a new pot for the 81 would I?

My 81-7's don't have the plug, they're wired in like older EMG's.
Could be they're custom shop ones and the more recent runs are plug equipped.
If they've got the plug system then just plug em in and :scream: :metal:

Both of the 81-7s I bought had the wires built in instead of the quick connect. You will more than likely have to solder but it's not hard at all. Yes the 81-7 will fit perfectly in the slot for the 707.

I recently traded my 81-7s for a pair of 707s to tone down the high end of my all-maple ESP SC-607. The 81-7s do not have the quick disconnect feature.

the quick connect thing is fairly recent, so its going to boil down to when the pups where made.

IMO the coolest thing about the quick connect is that you can swap out to different models fairly quickly. Otherwise, who cares about soldering something just once?
