I do also like a lot of songs from the first 3 Korn albums. But even when you consider that neither band is currently making music that matches up to their classic material, DT hasn't fallen off NEARLY as hard as Korn.

I only like John Petrucci. Can't stand Dream Theater as a band.

Freak on a Leash is one of my favorite songs of all time though, so Korn.

i don't mind dream theater, awsome band. I know its judging it off their new singles, but yeah no dream theater album stuck with me as much some of korns early albums did. I'm not gonna vote, but just thought i'd give my 2 cents haha

These polls are always stupid, the fact korn are losing shows how much people must dislike their new single though haha i like it :) They're 2 totally different bands, so this poll is pretty silly

Let's be honest though, in a real cage match DT > Korn.

It would start off with John Myung doing a legendary tackle, and then the rest of the match wouldn't matter because Petrucci is a man bear and would annihilate everyone in the ring with a single swing of his mighty arm :D

And DT's first 3 ? (at least 2, even ONE [first]) album didn't have any kind of super amazing raw energy?

When Dream and Day Unite is the LAST DT ALBUM I heard during my 'fanship' and it completely exploded my brain and thats why i don't make good sentence anymore.

Hold on, what criteria are we judging here? Whose music we like better? Which band has more technical prowess? Or literally, if these two bands got into a physical altercation, which would win?

Apparently people are judging by the bands' previous releases instead of the two songs the poll asks about.

Well if we are judging on physical altercation I still have to go with DT. Jp's biceps will carry the fight.

Any competition that allows voting once per hour instead of just once isn't a competition between the two subjects but rather a competition of which fanbase has too much spare time.

In which case Dream Theater has to win, because as rule 30 states in the 101 Rules of Prog Metal:
