I caught em on SNL and had no idea who they were, seemed okay at best. Nothing I'd seek out and listen to on my own. I say A.

    B. That song ‘when the curtain falls’ played constantly at my gym for 6 months and I seriously thought about ending my membership.

It’s nice to see new faces to the genre and I think these guys are good. I don’t think they’re like revolutionary or the second coming of Zeppelin, but I can give them a listen anytime.

B, only because there's other bands who sound more original, who've been grinding harder for longer, who didn't get the spot.

I get really embarassed when I see them. I'm not sure who I am embarrased for, but I cringe when I see them.

Seeing the singer mimick Plant's hand movements is cringey.

A and a half, not quite B. I don't think they'll last unless they find their own sound but I worry this becomes a trend. Like all the movie remakes these days. I can get behind a band that is influenced by another, even heavily influenced. I don't want to hear a new band write new Primus songs for example anymore than I want to see a new directors take on 'The Godfather'. Ironically Led Zepplin has borrowed so much from other artists themselves but, imho, nobody sounded like them and they did bring some originality with their act.

A.5 here as well. I feel like outright hating them is as cringy as liking them, but they're just really mediocre. Zep fanfiction, lol

Nope. They indeed are a Zepp copycat, but in times like this a reason for youngsters to listen to classic rock and maybe discover 70s-80s bands is more than welcome.

Also, I'd rather listen to these kids than the whole bedroom djent thing.

C, but I don't like them and they feel as authentic as Steel Panther.

B, I've never even liked Led Zeppelin so someone trying their hardest to imitate their shit is cringy af.

Bedroom djent is the future. GVF just sounds like that bunch of dudes got stuck in a time machine back in the 70´s, traveled to this day and thought their grandpa rock is still relevant.

Seriously, I have much more respect to anyone who djents in their bedroom than these spoiled asshats with their alleged music business connections.

They complain that everyone says they sound like LZ, but... they sound like a clone of LZ.
