Got mine quite recently. Wanted one for a year and finally pulled the trigger coincidentally on one the same week version 10.0 was released, in addition they were sold out for weeks prior to that. Talk about good timing. :shred:

I may buy one, but I'd have to sell my only decent amp (Pittbull) to afford it.
Although I could buy a Rocktron Velocity 300 poweramp or something, I'm not sure whether I should do it.
Maybe just run everything through the Pittbull and record using an affordable FireWire-interface.

For all of you guys that already own one; what do you use for your recording interface?

I was looking at the ProFire610 . It's kind of a cheaper unit. The last thing I want to do is buy an Ultra, and then cheap out on the interface. Let me know some recommendations.

    Thanks

I got a MOTU 828MKii on the cheap (Practically stole the thing.), so I gotta recommend watching the used market for a better interface. The 610 there doesn't look bad, but a cheap interface that seems like it would do just fine until you could upgrade to something really nice is the Presonus Firebox. I've never used one, but that is what I was gonna buy until I got a deal on the MOTU. Looking at the high end stuff, RME seems like a go-to brand, if / when you decide to get something better.

Also, don't skimp on the speakers. Whatever output device (Cab / Poweramp, Powered Speakers, etc.) you use, make sure it isn't bad, or mediocre even.

I don't, but one day I would definitely like one. I'd run it through an amp though, not DI.

The real question is this: do you have sex with it hourly, or just once or twice a day?
