    Hey there, folks!

I might be looking for an upgrade to an Ibanez S320 (22 fret, mahogany body, ZR trem).
I might load it with a .011 string set and tune it to D (whole step down), for a mean Metal machine.

However, stock pickups are crap (INF1 + INF2). I had a set on my RG470 and I got rid of them.

So, now, I'm looking for a new pickup set. And I'm undecided between the DiMarzio Titan set and the Bare Knuckle Boot Camp Brute Force set.

I have never tried any of them.

Any of you guys with experience with them?

titans are a great choice in a hunk of mahogany or even in a brighter sounding guitar. Verrry tight/responsive low end and warmer high end. pretty decent cleans.

can't help with the brute force as I haven't tried them

The Titan set is one of the most well rounded you’ll find. Amazing pickups.

    Thanks for the input, guys!

I really am undecided. I was very pleased with your description and I'm nearly convinced to go with the Titans.
But I have the feeling the Brute Force may be excellent as well, and with a killer price!

talk to nick at axe palace, he's got a lot of experience with the bkp lineup. He may sway your decision one way or another

Just from talking with Nick in the past, he's not a fan of the Titans if I remember right so he'll probably end up saying Brute Force haha

I mean I'm not the biggest fan of them either but they work well for what some people want. Personally I found the dominion set to do pretty much the same thing but better.

yep, titans. Dominions feel less "sterile" on their cleans but still absolutely whoop ass when it comes to being super tight and chuggy. Absolute sleeper in dimarzio's lineup, same with the fortitude.

Either pickup will be nice in that guitar. I am a huge Bare Knuckle fan and user but both would be a good choice. If it comes down to money, the Brute Force is a wonderful value.
