Dimarzio Imperium in basswood

I have a BFR Cutlass in Lime Green incoming and I know that I will eventually change the pickups to pink. I am thinking about the Imperium, has anyone tried one in a basswood/maple/floyd/bolt on guitar and liked it? My second choice will likely be a Gravity Storm as I have one in my RG550 and like it a lot.

Far more important question, does it have a matching basswood truss rod cover? That's going to be a critical element in your overall tone.

I haven't tried Imperiums, but DiMarzio's customer services has recommended them to me for a basswood RG in B standard tuning (I went with D Activators instead).
