I stopped going to concerts with the intention to join mosh pits etc when I was actually aware that it could potentially be life threatening.

When I was younger, didn't really think about it.
Honestly the pit looks dope as fuck until you’re either in it or right next to it and getting hit by people in the pit.

When I was a young teen first going going to smaller, local shows, I would happy go into the pit for most of the night and it was fun.

Then I went to an Ozzfest and got absolutely demolished in a pit (from what I know now, pretty certain I left with a legit concussion) and so yeah, turns out that I'm not about that life.

I think that's OP's problem. He wanted someone held responsible. He wants there to be some black-and-white answer and someone needed to go to jail, when in reality it's a whole grey area of fuck ups. There was no malice or ill-intent, just mistakes made by everyone involved.
I remember at the time when the decision was made in court that Randy put out a statement apologizing for what happened and taking at least some responsibility for it and accepting his prison sentence. Is that not someone being responsible for it?

I feel like some of you have an impression about how I am inclined to post because of certain issues we've disagreed upon in the past so you already have some sort of undertone aimed at my threads lol.
I mean, I noticed you were back because you quoted me to call me delusional. Exactly the kind of thing I expect when you:
would prefer to keep things civil and productive

Thoughts?
This is an old case, the conclusion of which is spelled out very clearly in the wikipedia article. It was a bad accident, and it was 13 years ago. The community moved on. So, seeing a post come up about it again to make a non-point about it's "weak sauce" how criminal and moral responsibility aren't one and the same feels to me like just an attempt to stir shit for no reason. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Guess someone wants a life sentence.
