One of my neighbours had enough confidence in my building to throw a lot of money my way to build a guitar for his son. An 18th b'day gift, he gave his son a blank cheque for parts, woods and design. Woods arrived in April 2020 and the guitar was completed in October 2020.

    Black limba PRS inspired body
Flamed maple Ibanez style bolt-on neck, 25.5"
Ziricote 24 fret board with Jescar 57110 and client's initials inlayed at 12th
    Hipshot closed gear
    Graphtech nut
Schaller Hannes bridge (my first Hannes, this was actually super easy to install)
    Seymour SSL-1 and JB
    Magnetic truss and cavity covers

...and I'm not taking pics in the garden anymore, the grass really screws with the colour balance!

    This is amazing!

How do you calculate distance between bridge and bridge pickup?

I measured a bunch of guitars and found the average to be about 1 inch, so I generally stick to that. Any less and it sounds harsh. Unless thats what you want, like Meshuggah \m/

Killer build! What did you use to finish it with?

That's definitely the sweet spot for good chunky bridge sounds.
