A load of Randall stuff just popped up in guitarguitar Glasgow with some pretty nuts discounting. Wasn't even aware a bunch of this stuff even existed, like the Nuno amp (which aesthetically looks absolutely gorgeous IMO) or the EOD88. Or the COW sig V2 actually.

    https://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/randall/amps/

Any of these worth checking out?? Randalls are pretty hard to come by over here so these might not hang around too long?

The V2 is quite highly regarded around these parts.

The Nuno looks awesome but doesn't sound awesome... I still kind of want to buy one and gut it to use in a build because I do love the looks.

From what I have heard the 667 is a good sounding amp, but haven't ever seen one in person.

The COW is supposed be even better. I know for sure the SS channel is a bit meaner with more gain. Not sure about the rest of the amp.

The T2HH is supposed to sound a bit brighter and have more presence than the stock T2, which the amp needs. The stock T2/V2 are VERY dark sounding.

Also the EOD88 sounds surprisingly mean and kinda tight. Made me wonder if it's actually based on the Fortin Bones but with a different power section and a fuzz circuit.

The Kh amp seems quite nicely priced for a full tube head.

Seriously tempted by the 667. But not sure it could give me something that the Mark IV doesn't already.

The V2 is discontinued and the Archetype version almost never comes up used. I'll sometimes see a Ninja but, thats it. (maybe thats just my experience?)

But, yeah. A "rare" variation of a discontinued amp available in NOS condition for half the price of what standard ones go for used?
Sign me the fuck up asap.

I am not sure if everyone has thought about it, but these amps are made for the the english/euro market so they are all set up for 220/230 volt. I am not sure all of them have the ability to run at 120v. You should probably plan on buying a stepdown converter if you are stateside. I had to buy a step up transformer to run a couple of my US spec amps while I am here in Germany.

    Shit. I feel silly now.
    I really hope you're wrong.

The picture showing the back side has the 120v/60hz box checked with a red marker so I'm hoping that's a picture they actually took. I did a google image search and their site is the only result that pops up so, that gives me hope.

The one I'm looking at actually has 'World Voltage Selector' as a feature in the description

Also just to see what the grand total would be I added it to the cart.

Shipping was £98, which is quite a bit, however being in the US means no VAT, so the subtotal dropped about £40-£50 :)

Why would you care? It's basically a big power adapter that is readily available. Slightly annoying, but not something that is hard to get a hold of or use at all.
