What does a Setius have in common with a Sabre? The Setius is a big guitar man, bigger than the regius and the body is thick. Couldn't be further apart beside being superstrat derivatives.

shapewise when i see a setius body i see a sabre. The regius isn't like a RG , right. But I read here that the letters stand for the equivalency in the range of mayo vs ibanez. but i can be wrong of course ;)

While I agree saying the Regius looking like an RG is like reaching higher than the stars... The Setius looks a lot like the Saber to me. Like, a lot.

I own both, they are not anything a like, the setius must be about 2.5 times the thickness at the edges. It could be bigger than a strat body. The sabre has an even sloped top. The setius is like a ticker prs body without the pronounced edge lip.

Ok ok ok, the Setius is like the Ibanez SV and because the SV is based on the S model then the Setius is based on the Sabre.

Can we get back on topic?

I want to see more Cort models because every year they are getting better and last year or the previous one the has a G280 or something like that with two humbuckers that looked amazing!

The only guitar I had a real sentimental feeling for was my Cort acoustic. I bought it used and It lived for about 15 years after surviving a all-over car accident with me. Its problem costs outgrew its value, though, so off it went.

I'd say Regius is way more PRS than RG. Duvell is more RG shaped than Regius, but your point still stands, lol.

These look cool but again it's interesting how these trends get started. Like with the burl's now suddenly it seems yo got EPS and Cort doing these at the same time. I'm guessing in a year or Ibanez and Jackson will start doing it too. My conspiracy meter says they're all in cahoots, but that's because I have a sensitive distrust meter : )

I am surprised by the lack of members owning the FF 7 string that Cort produces. I guess that some must have one. It seems to have a decent price for its specs (compared to other FF guitars). They also seem to sell quickly in the used market and I considered one before going the tried and tested Jackson route.

I own one in the other finish they offered.

It’s very similar to the FF7 Ibby put out just prior.......decent, not spectacular. Comfortable neck profile, no sharp fret ends, plays well enough. Biggest thing about them is that they have that not exactly ideal 12th parallel fret, so the first couple of frets were a bit uncomfortable until I got used to them. It’s currently my only 7 tho, so I am obviously happy enough with it.

The 8’s they put out last year look like they have a 9th parallel fret, id quite happily pick one up if I stumbled onto one when I have some free cash.....

Wonder if they’re going to go after the DK24, Ibanez AZ crowd with anything this year

They've made the better G series models for years.

the one that’s almost like a Suhr modern but slightly skinnier? Yeah forgot about those. Let me rephrase I wonder if they’re going to put out some G series models with comparable specs and aesthetics. (Thermally modified maple mainly)

Isn't Birdseye maple trendy enough? Because the G290FAT has it and that guitar is almost perfect and just 635€...
