Converse's All Wah is a shoe with a built-in wah pedal | MusicRadar
I hate the wah...
"Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether they could that they didn't stop to think if they should."
Something about the wah just sounds strange. Also, while it could just be poor video editing, the shoe seems to be really unresponsive; like there is a noticeable delay between flexing the shoe and the wah actually happening.
Kirk Hammett signature shoes?
if it was like bluetooth with a wah on a pedalboard it would be a much better idea. it still wouldnt be cool but it would be better than plugging a shoe into an amplifier
I can see me forgetting and subsequently damaging a lot of cables/ gear lol.
They lost me as soon as they claimed that their shoes were "rock and roll legends". I have never gone to a concert and thought even once about what shoes the performers were wearing.
Even if it wasn't just marketing nonsense, an actual shoe with cables coming out of it like that is the worst possible idea in a stage environment.
I could think of nothing more retarded than being attached to my pedal board. I mean really in terms of life hacks this has got to be the least useful invention for a guitarist.
It is kinda cool on the other hand, but I just really see no need for it.
I mean WAHT?
I thought this had to be fake, but kind of wanted it to be real. I think it's real, but I don't see where you can preorder them anywhere and I don't see anything from Converse.
Would have been better intorduced on April 1st.
This is one of those things that you develop and market purely as a publicity stunt. I doubt they actually expect to sell any significant quantity of these. Most, if not all of what they do sell will be to collectors and people buying it for sheer novelty.
Made 'specially for wahking
No control for the sweep of the wah? No LED indicator for the effect being engaged? NO TRUE BYPASS?
Your favorite half-sleepy stoner demos it.
It sounds like ..... Very narrow sweep and the effect is very, very faint.
I bought a pair of Converse a year or two back and they're terrible.
Aside from fitting terribly, they fell apart quickly.
Give me Nike SB any day of the week.
TBF, apparently Converse have finally updated their ancient design with Nike (their parent company) insoles.
