The DK24 Pro Mods with the roasted necks can get pretty light. I bought one for touring with in 2018 and it comes in at just under 7 pounds (6lbs 10oz or so). The build quality is fantastic, and I've kept it bone stock since the pickups fit perfectly IMO. The only thing that would've been nice to have would be stainless steel frets, but the nickel is high enough quality, so I can't complain.

I don’t know all the models it’s available on, but I also believe kiesel May have a chambering/weight relief option. I don’t want to be misremembering as I am not a super-fan, etc. but if they do that may help further.

I believe it's on the CS/CT models but it might be available on more. I know they were promoting it during their last Q&A

I can vouch for the Charvek Dk24's light(er) weight.

it is available on almost all models nowadays (as long as you get a top wood).
The HD might be an exception to that- but that would be because of the routing under the pickguard, so from a weight savings standpoint it's already pretty much up there.

I love my MAR10, which is basically just an AZ in purple. I got mine from Ibanez Rules, so obviously he weeded out the terrible ones.

The only issue mine had was the nut sluts were just not filed down enough. I took it to a tech, and now it plays like a dream.

I was about to suggest the exact same thing. From the reviews I have seen, it seems very high quality for a price somewhat similar to the AZ depending on the build.

Thank you for all the replies!
What I am gathering from here is: go to a store and play one to find out hahah
I plan on doing just that. Now that I know that the build quality is actually reasonably good, I'll go try to find a good one in store!
