I guess a thread to share upgrade experiences to MacOS 10.15 would be useful.

I will have to wait a couple (more?) weeks:

    * Presonus says that not all of their software/drivers are officially ready.
    * Toontrack has not stated anything in favor or against.
    * Aperture will finally die, so I need to migrate my library to something else.

    What's your experience so far?

I’m sticking to 10.14.X personally. Izotope also said to wait a while. I have 2 presonus interfaces and don’t want to lose compatibility from either of them.

Yeah, a few plugin makers I use have indicated they want users to wait. I'll let someone else be the first adapter.

Yup. Generally there isn't a clear ETA. Toontrack too just advised to hold on for a while.

I'll just have to be patient.

I'm seeing a bunch of audio guys saying not to update to catalina right now. I'd wait.

I received newsletters about not updating to Catalina nearly from every (a lot) music production SW manufacturer that I'm subscribed to

Yeah me too, and I'm not even on Mac. Voxengo said Apple introduced some new bizarre software notorizing system and that all their installations will not work until they upgrade their development hardware/software to comply. Told my colleague about it and he googled it and said as we suspected it seems to be related to trying to combat malware and viruses or something to that effect.

So far, Avid/Pro Tools, Arturia, Izotope have all sent me emails telling me to wait before updating to ensure compatibility.
