One of these cabs is available in my area for a good price.

Has anyone had any experience with one of these cabinets? Loaded with V30's, seems like it would be good general use cab which is what I have been looking for recently.

I have had my eye on a Mesa 2X12 or 4X12 for a long time, but the price on this is so much lower.

Quality wise you shouldn’t worry. They used poplar plywood for their cabs I believe. Dimensions and materials are different from Mesa, so it won’t sound exactly the same. Let your ears decide if you like it with your head.

Great cabs, way underrated if you ask me.

Built like tanks, similar to the early 90's Mesa Boogie cabs with the large metal grill.

I understand it won't sound exactly the same as the Mesa, which for my purposes probably won't make much of a difference. I think for what I want this will work fine.

What's the "good price", in good condition it should go for around $300.

i have a legacy 4x12 straight front and it sounds frickin awesome. Easily sounds as good as my mesa 2x12.
