Hi guys and gals..... i be dealing for a caparison TAT 2 said to be an old model and wonder any opinion on these japanese made guitars?

I been a jackson sl2h user and i know jackson are sometimes a hit or miss unless you go masterbuild... i also see that jackson uses quartersawn necks which are better in stability as a neck thru guitar...

I wonder how stable are the caparison necks especially on a TAT 2 thats a neck thru.. and i heard caparison uses merely one piece flatsawn hard rock maple ?
But is a flatsawn really thats bad? Or its just slightly less stable tham quartersawn and you hardly tell once its being finished with covered paint job?

Im contrast i kinda like the TAT neck heel as i think it be more resonant due to a thicker heel area and a D shaped neck is also larger than the jackson C shaped for better transfer of tone throughout the neck for a neck thru design?

I don't know about any of this but I never had any neck issues with my 2008/2009 TAT.

I don't know exactly what year my TAT II is (but it's around there), but no issues whatsoever. I prefer it more than any SL2H I've played. It's a fantastic guitar.
