If you're willing to look outside of the "brutal" death metal genre, I'd suggest checking out the 2 Mike DiSalvo era Cryptopsy albums. He's got a more hardcore style approach to the vocals.

I'm not sure about the specific genres and sub-genres, and often I am not sure what sub-genre a certain band would fall into, so bear with me - in case my suggestion is way off - but I would suggest
    The Faceless.
I know they are not 'just' Death Metal, as they also would be prog and tech, I guess.

If you take the vocals out of death metal, aren't you just left with speed metal?

    Uhhhhh... Meshuggah?

I don't actually know how Brutal Death Metal is distinct from regular Death Metal.

Death Metal can be the slowest music too. More traditional death metal anyway. Some of my favourite Obituary songs are really slow, then they have moments in those songs where it sounds like a tape gradually slowing to a stop  Some Bolt Thrower stuff is really slow as well. I find that so much heavier than nipple-melting speed 100% of the time.

Check out Fleetwood Mac. Their Tusk album is pretty sick.

Huge BDM fan here. My answer is Dying Fetus. They're my favorite band ever. Yes, Galagher's vocals are the burping kind but quite easy to understand once you read the lyrics and Beastley's vocals might be what you look for. It's 50/50. Otherwise, burping vocals are a definitive trait in BDM. Might as well give up on the genre if you really can't stand them.

    Edit: forgot about Skinless

Interesting OP. Working on a project that has been a long time in the making. While I like everything from Corpse, to Old Mans Child, In Flames, to Archspire I don’t know what to call it. We do a little of all those styles and I refrain from the corpse style murder/rape lyrics. I prefer heavy growls and screams over mashed potatoes in the garbage disposal For our songs. I’m getting too old to keep up with all the genres.

Quite impressed with Orbit Culture, great mix of heavy tone, good quality production overall nice balance between harder vocals and cleaner parts.

I think you will be fully satisfied by these, they may even avoid your lyrical taboos.
