    Hey,

I wanted to replace the bridge to a black one. I was considering the Hipshot hardtail. I heard the holes don’t like up.. but I figure if atleast two of the holes line up of the three, it will be ok. Or maybe I can drill a hole on the Hipshot that will match the hole on the body.

anyone else have a PRS SVN where they swapped out the bridge?

The problem with PRS bridges is that they're proprietary. So the holes won't necessarily line up with another bridge. You'll likely have to drill new holes.

That being said, if you can find somewhere close to you that does anodizing, you could also send the bridge there and have them ano it black.

The 6-string version of that bridge is made by Gotoh, part # JA-SB-20, same bridge I swapped on my old Holcomb SE, nothing wrong with it, just wanted a color change as well.

Check ebay/reverb for used ones or contact Guitar Heads/Gotoh to see if they sell them in black?
