Hi guys. Just a quick question for my new ongoing build. A new build thread might be coming soon.

So I have a 1.5" body on my new build which is a neck thru with no neck angle.
I know I will need a recessed cavity on it.

So is it possible that it fits without any modification to the block? Or I will have to glue a 1/4" veneer on the back.

Just wanted to get the info before I start to dig out the material.

Hi - I reckon that's not going to be thick enough (depending on how much you need to recess of course...).

This is the routing diagram for the OFR7 and the body thickness in their diagram is 1.8". Even allowing for them being generous with their measurements I would personally think that 1.5" is not enough unless you modify the block:

Unless its a non-recessed FR for a thinner body?

Its definitely not going to be thick enough with the stock sustain block.

    Short Trem Block

Thats already 1 3/8 in length, so you're holding onto 1/8th depth for wiggle room. I think there might be other short blocks out there, but i couldnt' locate them quickly.
