Anyone know anywhere with EMGs on sale? I wanna get my new bird kitted out but it'd be something like $500 for all the parts I want.

No idea if they have specifically what you're looking for but the Musician's Friend 15% off seems to work on EMG products.

Definitely following all of these threads this year since I'm actually in need of some gear. Will echo my dissatisfaction with L&M's recent attempt at a sale. Also, I can't tell you how frustrating it is that I'm unable to search all inventory including used/demo items (even if just for particular stores/areas).

I've always appreciated L&M. Having lived in the UK, US and Canada, they're still the best music store I've been to. Sure they have all the regular stuff everyone else does, but they do carry other great brands like Orange, Mesa, Soldano, H&K, PRS, Jackson, ESP, Revv, EQD, JHS etc....

Sure their sales are always 10% off this or that standard option, but their layaway and 90 day payment options are great, not to mention their rental dept. Also some of the used deals I've gotten from them have been insane - Fryette Sig X $999, Framus Cobra $1200, Mesa Mk IV $800, Mesa Stiletto Deuce $700, Marshall JVM210 $799, Blackstar S1 50 $699.

Those prices were way below market, and never had any issues.

you all are pretty wild. Black pole pieces are an upgrade, and they do cost a little more to get on your build. I'd like to see you get custom options on an Ibanez or Schecter or ESP or PRS for under 3k. Black poles is just one of a few free upgrade options. Royal Ebony fretboards are a free upgrade, oh yeah no one else is offering that.

The biggest black Friday deal I have seen so far is Neural DSP plugins 50% off.

Plugin deals are always huge on Black Friday. With digital goods there is no stock nor any of the issues associated to physical goods. Neural DSP is far from special. I usually get my share of Acustica Audio plugins at 70%off each year.

It also depends on where you live. The store in my town isn't what is considered to be an "A" store (this is coming from guys who work there). Meaning that the 'in store' selection isn't nearly as good as say a store in Toronto, Vancouver, etc... The last time I was in the local one, they had maybe 2 or 3 Ibanez GIOs, a couple of PRS SEs and I think maybe 1 LTD Eclipse 256. The rest are all Gibson/Epiphone and Fender/Squier/Jacksons. I will agree though that every now and again they do offer pretty decent deals on used stuff.

That’s true, it does greatly depend on where you live.
