Hey all, I have an Ibanez RGIT20FE that has EMGs in it right now, looking to change to BKPs in the near future. I have a question about the routes, looking at the emg dimension page and the BKP specs it seems that it might be an awfully close fit... the emgs look real tight in my current guitar.

Also, do 53mm vs 50mm spacing matter on covered BKPs? Looks like the cover itself is the same size. Appreciate the help!

you'll probably have to trim the mounting tabs on the bkp a bit or slightly widen the tab area of the cavity since it's around a 6mm difference. you can probably get some sandpaper and sand a bit in the cavity. 3mm on each side isn't much.

think the covers are the same size. just spaced differently

I have had to trim the tabs on most BKPs I have bought.,they are chunky . just get some tin snips .I rather do that than sand the guitar
