Guess this is a thread for those who have sold a guitar, and regret it now.

I'd have to say mine would be my 97 UV7 and 91UV7BK.

Before I decided to move out of my parents house a few years back, I delivered pizzas and brought home a ton of tip money. Just 2 of the guitars I bought were the 2 listen above. But I later quit playing for 2 years, and when I did, sold damn near everything. I really regret selling the 2 Universes. The 97 was always my favorite.

I wish i could have held onto both of the Ibanez RBM's i had but, i hardly played them out and couldn't justify leaving them laying around.

I wouldn't say it was a 'mistake' because I needed the money. Back in 2002, I needed cash bad and I sold the following gear:

    Ibanez Prestige RG7
    Mesa 2:90 power amp
    Rocktron Piranha preamp
    AKG UHF wireless system
    Korg rack-tuner
    12 space shock-mount rack
    an ancient Epiphone Acoustic guitar

The only things I kept were my best 2 6-strings, my Rocktron Chameleon, TC G-Force, and Mesa 4x12. I couldn't part with those.

To this day, I wish I had the 2:90, the Ibanez, and the wireless unit back.

Well, I too have a hard time calling this a "mistake" because the guitar clearly wasn't for me, and it was a lot of cash to have tied up in a backup instrument, but I kinda regret the timing of selling my RG2027x - I bought it second hand for $1100, and sold it for an even grand about 8 months later to cover a new amp (a TSL-100, which I've since sold to buy my nomad, lol). The kicker is, these things now routinely go for like $1600+, about a year after I sold it - it wasn't exactly HARD to sell at the time, but it's a total seller's market these days, even with competition from the JP7.
