Hello! I'm new here so I apologize if this has already been asked.

I'm looking for a V-shaped 7 string guitar for under $1000 (new or used) and I'm having trouble finding one that I really like. I want a body shape like the ESP Arrow and the Jackson Rhoads. I'm focusing on looks and playability, I can always upgrade the electronics in the future. I would like one that has color to it, I'm not a big fan of straight black guitars. Dark red would be the best.

    Any recommendations?

Jackson and Solar are making some models, LTD made some, BC Rich made one few years ago... For a RR shape, apart from Jackson, not much came out...

I'd agree with solar in that price range. I had.a RR24 years ago and I HATED it

I'd like to have a Solar myself. I on the other hand loved my Jackson RR24.

Schecter made several 7-string Vs. Just kinda hard to find.

Jackson made a 7-string Rhoads in the late '90s/early 2000s. But 22 frets.

I recently got rid of my Schecter Blackjack SLS V-7, was a lucky find but ultimately, the EMGs and offset V shape changed my mind.

You could also try to track down a Chris Howorth V-7.
