IMHO the sound quality of the delays aren’t that great on the Zoom. They’re alright for a cheap multieffect, but if you want just a delay, many options already posted sound a lot better.

This was the video that sold me on the Keeley Eccos. Make sure to listen to this on good heaphones or monitors.

If the part starting at 8:25 doesn't impress I don't know what to tell you.

+1 to Boss DD7. Rock solid, sounds great and very versatile.

I loved the one I borrowed so much that I ended up buying a Boss DM2-W as I mostly used the "analog" setting anyway

The echos looks cool but just too much going on lol. The walrus D1 though! Thats impressive for sure, but still seems intuitive and straight forward.
Would there be any reason NOT to get the walrus D1? Ive never tried any of their stuff.
    Edit: $400 OOOUCH

I can see how the addition of the looper could be seen as "too much", but you can use just the delay portion of the pedal and never touch the looper. Plus you get 3 presets you can save. :)

I have the pedal and it's pretty intuitive. It took me about 20 minutes to learn my way around it, but I'm still learning my way around the looper. (This has to do more with my playing ability vs. the design of the pedal.) Dialing in a great delay tone is super easy and all the modulation sounds are just incredible.

reasons not to get it: Price, won't use all the features/can get what you need out of a cheaper unit, availability.

TC Elec Flashback 2 is hard to beat considering its price and footprint.

It is, but I think there are SO MANY excellent lower cost alternatives around now vs. when it was first released like 7 (?) years ago. Some of which have been listed already ITT.
