Since this seems to be a community of people that have a pretty good idea on what goes into learning to play on a technical level, I thought I would ask you guys if there are any books or videos you would recommend for building technique for lead playing. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks guys.

I ordered the Stetina book from Amazon, and I'll be keeping an eye out for that other stuff.

You won't regret it. That one's the kind of book that you'll probably refer back to for years to come.
