The only thing turning me off from the mushoks is that their body wood is mahogany. I really want something brighter like swampash.

The Mushok PRS is very bright and aggressive because of the maple neck and ebony board. It has much stronger attack than his older neck-through Ibanez model.

At Carvin or Warmoth you can pretty much spec a quality guitar to your hearts desire. It won't break the bank either.

I think warmoth would be the way to go. I like the SG bodies they have because they're thicker then the standard gibsons and I'm liking the scale of they're baritone necks too.

With builds like that I always feel like there are so many things that can go wrong though. I'm mainly worried about cranking the neck too hard into the body, and screwing up the installation of a hipshot bridge. I'm just not a very skilled guitar tech lol

You know what I just filled out all the specs I wanted a warmoth neck and body and it came out to be $725. This seems like a much better way to go
