Hi, just wanna share a patch that fixes most issues encountered with the first gen of Axe-FXs, I guess it's the right section.

    DESCRIPTION

The REDSTONE patch is based on the Recto New and suitable for both FRFR and real cabs.

It displays a natural sounding top-end, outstanding FRFR clarity, thick distortion,
perfect EQ balance, an imo credible recto-ish bottom-end and a more than decent
direct sound that might surprise you, as it reflects its FRFR qualities.

The pre-loop filter acts as an independent presence knob for the real cab.

The reverbs help widening your dual tracks, use the upper one
for the left track and vice versa. No need to bypass the PEQs.

A peerless custom IR of mine, super flat, smooth, tight and
clear, absolutely no post EQ required but a low-pass.

This beauty has been created with the Torpedo BlendIR then
    somehow converted in syx.

    CAUTION

It has been set for your average sounding guitar with passive modern humbuckers, and V30 cabs.

It isn't a Rectifier clone patch though, doesn't fix years of brainwashing by crappy settings
and doesn't make a wedge sound like a real cab but a real wedge. That being said..

    SOUNDCLIPS

Rather than providing my own soundclip, I rely on you to show how versatile that patch is.
Feel free to record something and post the result here!

    Cheers

Merci beaucoup! Tu merite d'etre reconnu un peu plus pour ca ici...

Great patch. Sounds very clear and defined. I'm going to try it out with my PA speaker at practice tomorrow. I added a t808mod pedal for a bit more "wetness". Fingers crossed it'll cut through well in the live mix!
