Don't have time tonight to listen to all of it, but it sounds pretty sweet. :yesway:

    Cheers!
Yeah I'm not that much into instrumental sludge bands myself (and haven't listened to a lot of them either), this one was actually written with vocals in mind, heh.

I like it. I could imagine Chris Cornell singing on this track.

I think your snare has too much crack to me or it sits too loud in the mix for me. It gets a little tiring to listen to because of it.

And I think your distortion guitars could just use a tad bit more highs/presence. Just a tad.

The synth part is cool. Maybe bring that out just a little! I barely even noticed it on the first listen.

Hah, I was wondering the exact same thing about the snare while I was working on it, now I'll definitely check it out. And yeah the synth part was meant to be a bit buried but maybe I overdid it

    Thanks for the feedback mate!

Another really awesome song you have there, dude. You're definitely my favorite songwriter in this forum that I've heard. You have a lot of variety in your writing and it's all good. :D

I absolutley love it. The attention to detail on the drum programming alone is amazing.

I'm a huge Isis/Neurosis fan. I can definitely hear the influence in the drums and the guitar tone as well. Pretty cool song dude

Thanks! It seems I'm finally getting good at programming :)
Cheers! I love both bands as well man, it's pretty much the heaviest stuff I've ever heard haha, specially Neurosis. Given to the Rising is definitely one of my favorite records ever, great atmosphere and production.
    :D
Depends, my main tuning is CGCGCE, though occasionally I go for CGCFAD. This one though is in CGCFGC :D My guitar is a PRS Custom SE through a PodXT Live. For this one I used the Mississippi Criminal amp which is I think based on a 5150, with the Big Muff simulator on for extra nastiness, and a couple of redwirez impulses (Uberkabs I think). For cleans as well as the bass I used the Clean Jazz model iirc (and the TSE808 vst on the bass). Also, I use a trusty DL-4 as my main layering tool. I love it, a lot. Aaaand I think that would be it.

    Thanks again everyone :)

I love this! Soooo groovy and spacey. Reminds me of Deftones mixed with Isis. So sick.
