Hey guys, how are You doing?
    I hope You're fine!

I invited Mylena Mônaco (Sinaya) to do a collab cover. Our song of choice was "We will rise". This was a mixing and mastering practice for me as well. I didn't had much opportunities to practice with gutturals and screams in the past years . Actually, I started to understand how to mix in this quarantine, so I know that I have a long way to go. I'm planning on doing many collabs and videos to continue learning with each experience.

This is a custom guitar I have with only one pickup, a Dimarzio EVO7. I used vst plugins for my tone and drums.
The bass I have is a Tagima b5. I also used vst plugins for this tone.

If You can listen to this and give Your opinions I would appreciate it.
    Thanks!

First off - great playing! The vocals are fantastic, too.

I like the guitar tone a lot. The bass tone has a little too much string noise for my taste - I would probably have EQ'd that out, but that's a matter of personal preference. I think drums are the weakest part of the mix, particularly the toms. I would probably bring them up a bit more in the mix.

    Solid work overall!

    Thanks,man!
I'm mixing with headphones, I need to buy some monitors to hear it better. I will take these notes!
The drums are something I'm really practicing. To make the midi snares sound good is a lot of work but it's fun as well. And the toms, yeah, I don't know how to mix them properly, but I will practice.
Thanks a lot for Your reply!

I agree with what slan was saying, the toms need to come up with a little kick in the higher end. She nails the vox. I'd also say the snare seems a little weak. I feel like I'm hearing the same sample every time it hits. Other than those 2 things I like it, buddy.
