That's wack. Basswood and a trem, just like every other fooking Ibanez. People could have at least picked something a little different.

How exciting. I dig the guitar but I'm so bored with the usual black or white thing. If it makes some people happy, cool.

I kinda like it. I mean, it's just the simplicity of it. Idk, I'll probably never buy one cause I'm looking more into sevens now but if I had to get another 6 it'd be that or a JEM for sure.

Well, it's what people voted for. I wanted the 800 really, but it'd be nice to get my hands on a 300 for once instead of getting sniped at the last second.

They will sell better than the outlandish ones.

Nice to see they picked one that's different from the other PGMs.

    That was the NAMM Re-issue.

The 301 was a result of a public poll.

Blah. That sucks. Man people have no taste. They just want the same old same old. Never see the PGM900 again..

I have two thoughts on this topic.

    1. The 80s are over. If that's what won, that's what people want.

    2. How many of you would have actually bought whatever other one won, or are going to buy this one? I think not nearly as many of you are actually complaining about it.

Sorry, just think this talk is silly. Perspectives.

    :agreed:

People have wanted a trem equipped 301 AKA a 300 for a while now. Thanks to this they manage to get it. IMO it's also the nicest looking one.

Why have they not flip flopped the colors yet, as in black body, white f-holes, and a maple board? That would look pretty damn bitchin.

Personally, i think the anniversary PGM's and the new sunburst version with the chrome pickup covers are the nicest looking PGMs out there. The rest of them just bore me. I used to own a PGM301, and i loved the hardtail bridge, i really hope they dont start making all the PGMs with floyds, that would be a crying shame.

I'd like to see a black bodied, white f-holed, maple boarded PGM come out, just so i could refinish it, and paint it black again but remove the gaudy f-holes. I love black bodied guitars with maple boards and reverse headstocks...mmmm sexy.

I think it's pretty cool they gave the fans a say in the next model. The PGM300 won not only because it's the only one with a trem, but because it's got the Lo Pro Edge.

My choice would've been the PGM600. :metal:

:wavey: Me. I'm already waiting on my PGM100RE (apparently one of the last 10 avail. for the U.S. according to my rep :metal:) and am awaiting word on when the 300s can be ordered. I do agree though. Seems like some bitch for the sake of bitching. I'm used to it though, having owned both K7 and Apex1s, I've heard it all about how the inlay somehow makes the whole guitar suck. Nevermind that out of 100 people whining about it, only a handful have actually ever had one in hand to play or inspect and therefore make an "educated" evaluation. You know what they say though: opinions are like F-holes....
