Ambient/drone bands?

    Normally I would agree with you 100% on this, but that was why I chose 'Allelujah! and Asunder!, because they are far less melodic, and far dronier, than anything else they have done (Asunder! especially). Obviously, F♯ A♯ ∞, Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven, and Slow Riot for New Zero Kanada would be far too post-rock for this thread, but their two most recent albums are chock full of drone. If you like Earth, I would HEAVILY recommend them. You should check out the videos I posted.

    Jakob may be the band with the best use of volume swells ever. They use them in a way that makes me wanna cry. Point-in-case:
