should i go out of my way to buy a used LTD Alexi 600?

played one a few years ago and it was by far the best playing Vs iv'e had the pleasure of playing.

however, im curious to whether i should buy a used standard model.

it'll be my other Work Horse for C Standard if im to get one.

please leave your motion or your opinion on this.

    thanks!

If you got the cash, the Alexi Standard will be quite a bit better.

If not, an LTD Alexi 600 will be the next best thing, obviously.

What guitar do you exactly mean with Alexi Standard, can you link one? I may go to the woods with this one but aren't there only the LTD-600 series, the AL Edwards and the custom shop models which again are like 2500€ more expensive than the 600 series?

For the love of god don't buy that. It's a shitty Chinese copy. They're using a picture from Drum City Guitarland.

Had a 2006 white one, neck dive drove me nuts. Sold it in a month. Maybe they fixed the issue since.

Every so often, something like this pops up: ESP Edwards Alexi Scythe Guitar

This one's been for sale for a while, so I don't know whether duder would be into shipping it to you, but it'd be worth asking. Getting a Japanese built Edwards for $660 is sweet.

I second this every day of the week and THRICE(!!!!) on sunday. I used to have a custom ordered ESP SV and a Edwards E-AL128 and those guitars are so awesome for the price. There was nothing in comparison that would justify getting a ESP Alexi instead of an Edwards :2c:, unless you are getting one of the custom shop ones which costs like 6 grand. If you have the chance, don't get a 600 serie LTD but the Edwards. The shape is a bit different, the lower horn is longer (and uglier :2c:) on the LTD than its on the Edwards. IIRC its because Jackson went bananas for ESP copying the RR shape and they needed to modify it for the 'murican markets.
