What would you guys think would be a good and affordable bass amp?
    Mainly for home recording.

I was looking at the Behringer V-amp bass and the V-tone BDI21:scratch:
Anyone have one of those? Any good? Options?

    Thanks!

the Bass V-amp was recommended for me since i don't need a big live rig but sometinh to record with and pratice. I ordered one and i should have within the next few days and should be able to give you more infos.
From what i was told it's a lot better than the guitar V-amps and though not as versetaille seems to partially outrun the line 6 Bass Pods when it comes to warm and ballsy sound.

The Behringer BX4500H Ultrabass Bass Head is an affordable choice too. The V Amp sounds like it will work the best for your needs.

I tried my bassist's 5-stringer through my PodXTLive into my sound system ands it sounded pretty excellent (I was running the Pod completely clean). Also, bulb has posted his bass-recording patches for Pod, which you can get from the tone library here. I would try these things first before dropping money for the Bass model pack.
